چکیده
Abstract Background This study aims to characterize the spectrum of imaging findings in patients Mayer–Rokitansky–Kuster–Hauser (MRKH) syndrome presenting with primary amenorrhoea. Objectives (1) To aid clinical diagnosis MRKH syndrome. (2) detect associated non gynecological anomalies. (3) arrive at optimal management options. Results prospective observational was performed 14 subjects who presented amenorrhoea and diagnosed as on MRI from 1st January, 2021 30 June, 2022. Out patients, 4 showed hypoplastic uterus while remaining 10 complete uterine agenesis. Mean volume 5.3 ml. agenesis, 9 bilateral rudimentary buds connected by a fibrous band 1 unilateral bud. 3 three layered zonal differentiation which 2 blood within lumen suggesting functioning endometrium. bud located outside pelvis. Bilateral ovaries were noted all pelvis ovary endometrioma within. agenesis proximal 2/3rd vagina. Among non-gynecological findings, renal kidney. patient dorsal dermal sinus. Conclusions The varies or normal positioned uterus. can be functional collection endometrium could lead formation due retrograde menstruation. Ovaries have an extra-pelvic location.

Clinical utility of breast magnetic resonance imaging in patients presenting with primary breast cancer.
Since magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the breast has been shown to be sensitive in identifying the extent of the primary tumor and other foci of cancer, we examined its clinical utility in the surgical management of breast cancer patients. From January 2004 to April 2007, 117 patients with newly diagnosed breast cancer underwent bilateral MRI prior to definitive surgical management. Additio...
متن کاملCost-effectiveness of magnetic resonance imaging of the knee for patients presenting in primary care.
BACKGROUND Musculoskeletal problems generate high costs. Of these disorders, patients with knee problems are commonly seen by GPs. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the knee is an accurate diagnostic test, but there is uncertainty as to whether GP access to MRI for these patients is a cost-effective policy. AIM To investigate the cost-effectiveness of GP referral to early MRI and a provisio...
متن کاملMagnetic resonance imaging of feline eye
The purpose of this study was to investigate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the normal feline eyeand optic nerves using T1-weighted and T2-weighted images. A total of 6 healthy female domestic short haircats age 2-2.5 years and weighing 3.2 ± 0.4 kg were selected. Magnetic resonance imaging data werecollected using GEMSOW (Philips) at a magnetic field strength of 1.5 T. Dorsal, sagittal, a...
